Cavtat Cats

You may have noticed that Cavtat has an unusually high number of felines lingering around town. We affectionately refer to them as the Cavtat Cats.

Each tabby seems to each have her own favorite spots and activities. Some are known to wait for the fishermen to bring in the morning’s fresh catch, others nap outside the bakery, and others meander the promenade accepting treats from tourists. We’ve even seen some sleeping atop the seaside podiums where tourists book their boat tickets!
